Whether you're here to refine your technique, compete at the highest level, or simply dance for the love of movement.
B-KNWN is where you will grow, shine, and B-KNWN. B-Elite.

Hey guys! I’m Madi, president of B-KNWN. Dance has been my world for as long as I can remember! I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where I spent most of my childhood as a competitive dancer, training in all styles and falling in love with everything about it. But if you catch me in my element, you’ll see that hip-hop is where I feel most like myself!
My journey started in the classroom—teaching elementary school was my first job—but it didn’t take long for me to realize that dance was my true calling. For the past four years, I’ve been coaching dancers, and nothing makes me happier than working side by side with them to clean routines, perfect technique, and get them ready to hit the stage with confidence. I’m passionate about everything I do, but dance? That’s where my heart truly is.
Starting B-KNWN is about more than just dance—it’s about creating a fun, high-energy space where dancers can grow, push their limits, and build lifelong memories. Whether you’re here to compete, train, or just express yourself, I want every dancer to leave feeling stronger, more confident, and part of something special.
Let’s create, train, and B-KNWN. B-Elite.

Hey, everyone! I'm Shay, vice president of B-KNWN. Gymnastics and dance have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started gymnastics when I was just three years old and never looked back! That passion took me all the way to the University of Kentucky, where I competed on the UK Gymnastics Team and earned All-SEC accolades—an experience that taught me discipline, resilience, and how to perform under pressure (all things I love passing on to my dancers!).
After college, I knew I wanted to keep working with kids, so I became an elementary school teacher, a role I’ve loved for the past six years. But no matter how much time I spent in the classroom, I always found myself drawn back to the dance and gymnastics world. Over the past nine years, I’ve had the privilege of training and mentoring young dancers, helping them build confidence, master technique, and most importantly—fall in love with movement. She is also certified in acrobatics through Dance Masters of America.
Starting B-KNWN is truly a dream come true. We wanted to create a space where dancers of all levels feel empowered, challenged, and supported—not just as performers, but as people. My goal is to help every dancer walk away stronger, more confident, and ready to take on anything that comes their way.
I can't wait to dance with you all—let’s B-KNWN. B-Elite.

Hey everyone! I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine. My sports career began in rhythmic gymnastics. After 9 years of intense training and competitions I transitioned my focus into dance. For the next 7 years I was a member and the captain of the National Dance Team of Ukraine. I became the most decorated dancer in Ukraine: Three-time International Cheer Union World Champion in Pom and Jazz , Three-time ICU European Champion and Multi National Champion. I travelled the world with the national team competing and representing Ukraine in many international competitions and received the highest athlete award The Honored Master of Sport of Ukraine. During that time I also completed my education at The
National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine with a Master's Degree in Sports Biomechanics.
Since then I began teaching competitive and recreational students of all ages and levels as well as giving master classes to coaches and athletes. In addition to teaching I became a certified ICU judge and have judged various national and international competitions in US, Latin America, Europe and Asia as well as ICU World Championships and ICU European Championships. Since becoming a mom to my two precious daughters, teaching dance has become even more meaningful to me and I feel a huge responsibility to give them all the knowledge and opportunities that I can. That’s why I am so excited to join the B-KNWN family, to share my knowledge, help each dancer elevate their technique, skills and to be a part of their everyday progress that can bring them closer to their dreams and goals in dance.

Hey everyone! My name is Alyssa and I’m from South Carolina. I attend the University of Kentucky as a Dance & Business major. I started dance when I was 3, started competing in 5th grade and it has been my life ever since.
I’ve trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, tumble/acro, and have even done some ballroom! Throughout the years I’ve done more conventions, and competitions than I can count. I attended Discovery Spotlight where I was able to work with agents on singing, dancing, and modeling. I have also taken CLI classes, and BDC classes while in New York. All of these things have helped me to further my training, and I’ve learned so much from these experiences.
In high school I started teaching at my studio, and helping teach tumble/acro at a nearby gym. This is when I realized how much I truly love teaching dance. While jazz, and tap are my favorite styles, I really enjoy helping dancers with technique, and choreographing in lots of different styles. I’ve choreographed for dancers in the past, and have created multiple award winning solos, and duets.
I’m super excited for this opportunity, and can’t wait to dance with you all! My goal is for each dancer to be pushed to their full potential, while creating a positive environment where everyone can feel comfortable and have fun!
