Future Stars Developmental Program

Tiny Stars: a 30-minute tumbling class for students ages 3 to 5 years old. This is an acrobatic style class that teaches floor gymnastics. This class will teach students the basics such as bridges, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, one-arm cartwheels, and back-bends. Tiny Stars also focuses on flexibility and balance. Dancers will have a routine that they will work on through the year and perform in our spring recital. 

Tumble Stars 1: a 45-minute tumbling class for students ages 6- 7 years old. This is an acrobatic style class that teaches floor gymnastics. This class will continue to teach students the basics such as bridges, forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, one-arm cartwheels, and back-bends. Once these skills are perfected they will move on to more advanced skills such as kick-overs, front and back limbers/ walkovers. Tumble Stars also focuses on flexibility and balance. Dancers will have a routine that they will work on through the year and perform in our spring recital.

Tumble Stars 2: an hour long tumbling class for students ages  8-12 years old. This is an acrobatic style class that teaches floor gymnastics. This class will teach students forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, one-arm cartwheels, front/ back walkovers and fundamental acrobatic strengthening and coordinating skills. Tumble Stars 2 also focuses on flexibility and balance. Dancers will have a routine that they will work on through the year and perform in our spring recital. 

Tumble Stars 3 (Advanced): an hour long tumbling class for students ages  8-12 years old. This is an acrobatic style class that teaches advanced floor gymnastics such as walkover variations, side aerials, front aerials, back handspring. This class will also focus on acrobatic strengthening and coordinating skills, as well as  flexibility and balance. Dancers will have a routine that they will work on through the year and perform in our spring recital.  Students must have a front and back walkover prior to signing up for this class.

Twinkle Stars: a 45-minute class for students ages 3 to 5 years old. This class will focus on the fundamentals of ballet and tap. The class will split time between both styles. Working on elements across the floor, in the center of the floor, or at a barre. Dancers will have one dance that will be performed in our spring recital. 

Future Stars 1: an hour long class for ages 6-7 years old. This class will focus on the fundamentals of ballet and tap. The class will split time between both styles. Working on elements across the floor, in the center of the floor, or at a barre. Dancers will have one dance that will be performed in our spring recital. 

Future Stars 2: an hour long class for ages 8-12 years old. This class will focus on the fundamentals of ballet and jazz. The class will split time between both styles. Working on elements across the floor, in the center of the floor, or at a barre. This class will also have the basic fundamentals of a tap class so we create the all around dancer. Dancers will have two dances that will be performed in our spring recital. (This program has 2 costume fees)

Future Stars 3 (Advanced): an hour long class for ages 8-12 years old. This class will focus on the fundamentals of ballet and jazz. The class will split time between both styles. Working on elements across the floor, in the center of the floor, or at a barre. This class will also have the basic fundamentals of a tap class so we create the all around dancer. Dancers will have two dances that will be performed in our spring recital. This will be for dancers that have a single turn, basic left/right leap, and have taken a basic ballet barre class. (This program has 2 costume fees)
